Plant engineering and processing technology for paper, cardboard and cardboard packaging (OCC)

Paper, cardboard and cardboard packaging are collected together, but recycled separately. For this purpose, the paper must be separated from the cardboard.  With the SPLITTER UNIT from ANLAGENBAU GÜNTHER GmbH, the first separation in the processing chain takes place. The design of the SPLITTER has been adapted to the material properties of paper and cardboard and separates them successfully. Cardboard and cardboard packaging end up in the oversize grain and paper smaller than A3 in the undersize grain. Both product streams are then separated from foreign matter in further processing steps before they are recycled.

The challenge

Separating paper and cardboard

Practical example of paper, cardboard and cardboard packaging

Paper waste is separated.

Feed material: Paper, cardboard, cardboard packaging and impurities

Target material: Paper smaller than DIN A3

The SPLITTER as the solution

  • Separation of the material during pre-screening for the subsequent process
  • Problem-free processing of input material containing impurities
  • High process reliability
  • Replacement of inefficient existing technologies

SPLITTER UNIT for paper and cardboard separation

The advantages of the SPLITTER

  • Wear-resistant and clogging-free
  • Also very suitable for unshredded material
  • Optimum loosening and dosing for subsequent processes
  • Screen gaps do not clog: consistent screen quality
  • Tearing apart from the material flow > low wear on the screen deck
  • Dynamic screen gaps > qualitatively and quantitatively consistent screening results
  • Oversize grain recirculation to increase throughput while saving wear and energy at the same time
  • Self-cleaning effect > low-maintenance system

SPLITTER UNIT

With its compact screen deck, the stationary SPLITTER UNIT is particularly suitable for separating solid waste such as commercial and household waste, scrap metal, slag, waste wood and much more for further processing as the first step in a process chain.
