Anlagenbau Günther signs contract with Chinese partner

Due to growing requirements for recycling systems and waste water treatment the need for innovative technologies steadily increases in China. Experiences made abroad are examined with great interest. German companies, in particular, have a good reputation in environmental technology.

Whereas in the past China dumped everything in landfills, today the idea of recycling waste outweighs, in order to preserve the environment and to recover raw materials. In addition to the known environmental pollution in China, such as air and drinking water pollution, waste and waste water treatment in China also represents major challenges. In Shanghai alone, for example, several thousand tons of building waste are produced daily only through home renovations. In the field of water and wastewater treatment, there are contaminated sands from rivers and sewers. Here, too, it is important to separate the materials in such a way that usable material flows are created.

These challenges led the company Yixing Huadu-Huber Environmental in 2015 to the company Anlagenbau Günther. Huadu itself originates from the wastewater treatment sector and has been working with German companies for more than 20 years. Huadu sees great potential in China for the application of Günther's patented systems. This applies to both the SPLITTER spiral shaft separator and the Cleanstar star-type sieve equipped with special cleaning elements. The prerequisites for a successful cooperation of both companies were thus in place.

In the first year of the cooperation, two star-type sieves for the treatment of sewage sludge were delivered to China. They were followed by more over the next years. With the order of three SPLITTER units for waste processing, Anlagenbau Günther finalized the first project in this sector in China in 2016. More SPLITTERS followed, among others in the field of sand processing.

The star sieving technology is used as a wet sieve in sludge treatment. The high cleaning performance and the service life of the star-type sieves, in comparison to the previous systems, delights the Chinese customers in particular. The SPLITTER has been further developed according to the requirements for the treatment of sewer sand and street refuse. In China, the processing of sand, whether from canals, rivers or street refuse, represents a great potential. In order to reduce transport times and costs, Günther, in cooperation with Huadu, develops mobile systems to process the sand where it is produced.

In August 2018, three SPLITTER units for channel sand processing were delivered and are now integrated into a wastewater treatment plant of the city of Chengdu. The plant has already been visited by delegations from other districts as a new concept solution for the future new building projects. Here is an excerpt from a TV report broadcast on the occasion of the delegation visit:

In recent years, a trusting partnership relationship has developed. Therefore, both companies decided to deepen their cooperation. In the late autumn of 2018, the contract was signed between GÜNTHER and Huadu. This is the start of a new chapter in China. With the conclusion of the contract, both companies are intensifying their joint activities to open up further business areas in the Chinese market.
