Conveyor technology and conveyor systems - accessories and equipment options
In addition to the variable lengths and widths of our conveyor belts, many additional options can be selected within the modular system. Our system and conveyor technology can therefore be perfectly adapted to your work processes.
Scraper systems/belt scrapers
Scraper systems prevent material from sticking or getting caught on the conveyor belt, impurities from getting into the conveyor system and damaging the belt with these impurities, blocking the conveyor system or causing it to stall.
Which type of scraper is used is not directly determined by the material to be transported or the material of the scraper itself, but by the structural situation in which the conveyor belt is installed.

If there is sufficient space under the belt, an underbelt scraper is always a good choice. It is fitted in such a way that it does not come into contact with the material flow and is therefore also suitable if the conveyor belt is installed on an incline. The bottom belt scraper is made of carbide (HM) and has low wear.
The pre-head scraper is used where space is limited. It is attached to the "head" of the conveyor belt and is made of polyurethane (PU). The GÜNTHER pre-head scraper is equipped with a lever system that allows the scraper to be folded down and cleaned. This also allows the contact pressure of the scraper on the belt to be adjusted and regulated. The shape of the scraper is designed in such a way that it remains intact even when worn and there is no reduction in cleaning quality.
GÜNTHER conveyor belts are supplied with a drum scraper as standard. Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of the various scraper systems.
Belt covers
Belt covers are used where conveyor belts are used outdoors or where there is a risk of materials being blown off the belt or other materials inadvertently getting onto the belt. Underbelt covers are used for occupational safety. They protect against unintentional access to the belt and against being caught by the belt.

Hoods/covers provide protection against wind, weather and odors. They are also often used when material is transported from one part of a building to another. Depending on customer requirements, covers are fitted to the conveyor belts to protect the belt and material from the weather. In windy conditions, the material can be blown off the belt and fly away or be scattered around the site. In snow, the material can slip, which is also a major problem, especially on inclines of the belt.
GÜNTHER conveyor belts are designed to be compatible with common cover systems on the market. Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of the various cover systems.
Belt supports
GÜNTHER belt supports are telescopic and ensure optimum level compensation for uneven floors and slopes.
GÜNTHER conveyor systems are designed in such a way that the supports are optimally integrated into the steel structure. To avoid installing too many additional supports, GÜNTHER conveyor belts can also be planned in a suspension system. Fine adjustment of the conveyor belts is possible for optimum transfer and feeding into units.

Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of the hinge supports.
Funnels and transfers
Hoppers and transfers from GÜNTHER are always generously dimensioned and prevent the material from falling off the belt in the event of unforeseeable events such as blockages or fluctuating material quantities.

Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of hopper and transfer systems.
Belt scales
Belt scales are primarily used to determine hourly, daily and annual quantities. They provide information on your own process and are used for process optimization. This means that downstream processes can be operated in line with the process. They often serve as the basis for invoicing materials to the customer.

Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of belt scales.
Emergency stop device
An emergency stop device is a necessary safety precaution that can be used to de-energize either the affected belt or the entire system.

The emergency stop device is designed for hazardous situations, e.g. if an employee falls into the system, a fire breaks out or materials threaten to fall down due to a blockage in the system. An emergency stop button or the pull cord on the conveyor can be activated. The "two-channel version" is particularly advantageous for larger systems. It shows on a display at which point in the system the failure or emergency has occurred.
Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of the emergency stop device.
Band elevation
Belt elevation is usually necessary where light and coarse materials such as lightweight packaging, commercial waste or material streams that have not yet been conditioned are processed. Belt elevation is also generally useful for belts that are directly downstream of the shredder or receiving feeder, as irregular material quantities are often fed in here.

Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of band elevations.
Cable traverses or extinguishing water pipes
Attachment of cable traverses or extinguishing water pipes - The drilling patterns of the stringers provide an option for attaching extinguishing water pipes or cable trays.
Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of cable traverses or extinguishing water pipes.
Maintenance platform - catwalk with railing on one or two sides
So-called maintenance walkways and maintenance platforms along the belts ensure easy and convenient access to the conveyor systems at all times so that maintenance and cleaning work can be carried out efficiently.

Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of maintenance walkways and maintenance platforms.
Padded belt feed area
Optionally, padded transfer points can be integrated as required to prevent the material from damaging the belt.

Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of padded belt feeding areas.
Fire barriers
Fire barriers can be installed as a safety precaution so that no burning material can pass from one wing of the building to another.
Systems are often designed in such a way that they comprise several hall systems. A conveyor belt then transports the material from one hall to another. Fire barriers can therefore be installed as a safety precaution. These are closed by a signal from the fire alarm system so that no burning material can pass from one section of the building to the other.
Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of fire barriers.
Swivel hinge device
Swivel belts are used to ensure that the piles of material conveyed from the conveyor belt into the stockpile are better distributed.
Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the use of pivoting hinges.
Additional integrated advantages of GÜNTHER conveyor belts:
Special bearing types
GÜNTHER maintenance-free bearings have proven themselves thousands of times over and have already saved many man-hours that would otherwise be spent on lubrication and maintenance.

GÜNTHER uses maintenance-free bearings (4-hole flange bearings). The specially designed sealing system protects the rolling bearing against the ingress of coarse and fine dirt particles.
Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the storage types.
Customized drive motor variants
GÜNTHER conveyor systems are sufficiently dimensioned and offer the option of using various customized drive motor variants.

Depending on the circumstances, our team will advise you on the drive motor variants.
