The MULTISTAR XXL3 /XXXL3
The MULTISTAR XXL3 and XXXL3 are at the top end of the Komptech star screen product range. As absolute maximum output machines they have been designed for industrial scale plants, for which highest throughput combined with full mobility is demanded.
Heavy-duty components for continuous operation, largely dimensioned screen decks with wide delivery belts and a powerful, but extremely economical electric drive via diesel generator ensure a high throughput. The result: Unbeatably favourable running costs when fully utilized.

Advantages at a glance
Maximum output machine
The enormous range of tasks makes one thing clear: Here machines with extreme throughput capacities are at work. One wheel loader on its own is in many cases not enough for loading and discharging. To make sure that two wheel loaders will not interfere with one another, the 12 m³ (XXL3) or 15 m³ (XXXL3) hopper can be filled from either side. Extremely wide discharge conveyors make sure that all what has been put in will come out again without congestion.
Always free thanks to CLEANSTAR
The patented CLEANSTAR system ensures simple but efficient self-cleaning of the screen decks. Each star has a wear-resistant cleaning element, which clears the screen gap to the neighbouring stars with every rotation. This ensures reliable operation during all seasons.
From fine to coarse
The grain size is changed by adjusting the rotary speed of the star shafts. From the control panel the grain size can be changed within the band width determined by the star geometry in just a few seconds. Screen sections ranging from 8 - 150 mm are covered by selecting and arranging various star types beforehand.
Fully mobile
Even though the power of the XXL3 and XXXL3 is within the range of stationary plants, they can still be conveniently transported from A to B on a semi-trailer. This paves the way for inter-company use: Extend the outriggers, fold down the conveyors - and the machine is ready for operation.
