TAKER intake metering unit - Correct metering for perfect results

When planning recycling plants, great importance is usually attached to finding the right units for screening and separating materials. It is often neglected that the feeding situation on the screening units is also an important component in the plant and contributes significantly to the screening result. Only if the material is well homogenized and dosed will no conglomerates form on the screen deck and the screened material be optimally distributed in the system. In contrast to this, there are also no interruptions in the screening process due to feed stops or insufficient quantities. The supply of material to downstream downstream units remains constant. This not only increases throughput but also overall efficiency.

Do you want to accept loose materials such as compost, wood, biomass, waste, metal, stones, scrap, etc. and make them available for the next work step in optimum doses?

Then you are making exactly the right decision by using our TAKER series intake dosing systems

An intelligent modular system is the basis for the different product variants. This allows us to guarantee the flexibility to support your individual requirements. The aim is always to make loose material available for further processing without disruption, in the ideal quantity and at the optimum speed. The TAKER can be easily integrated into an existing system or used as a stand-alone solution.

  3. Uninterrupted and trouble-free material transport (no material jams)
  4. Constant feed to the downstream unit
  5. No interruption due to reduced quantities
  1. Automatic control, e.g. through connection to a weighing system
  2. Increased efficiency of the overall process and increased throughput
  3. Low maintenance and cleaning costs
  4. High availability thanks to high-quality components and sophisticated technology

Working methods

The TAKER receiving feeder is used to receive and meter materials to downstream conveying units.

  • The material to be dosed is fed in using a wheel loader, excavator or conveyor belt (e.g. after shredding). The material falls onto the conveyor unit, e.g. scraper floor, rubber belt, vibro table, apron conveyor.
  • Adjustable conveying speeds ensure dosing behavior and throughput capacity.
  • Optionally mounted dosing rollers, which can be fitted with different tools, equalize the material and discharge it into the downstream conveyor system at a constant volume.
  • The feed speed can be adjusted depending on the conveyed material, filling level, dosing behavior and required material quantity (for T-18, TL-12, TB-12)

Dosing roller

By individually equipping the dosing rollers with different tools, it is possible to actively influence the opening and dosing process. The feed speed can be adjusted depending on the conveyed material, filling level, dosing behavior and required material quantity. The throughput and the quality of the equalization are thus perfectly matched to the individual requirements of the material - the optimum solution with maximum efficiency. The TAKER has a front cover for quick access to the dosing rollers, which can be easily opened using a rack and pinion winch.

Scraper floor

The speed of the scraper floor has an initial influence on further processing as soon as it has been fed by the excavator or wheel loader. Stable, infinitely adjustable, driven scraper bars transport the bulk material from here to the dosing rollers, where it is equalized and delivered to the downstream unit in the appropriate quantity. The scraper floor can be moved forwards and backwards in inching mode to quickly and easily remove any blockages caused by impurities.
